John Terrio is a proud husband, father, business owner, proud graduate of Dennis-Yarmouth High School, and lifelong resident of Massachusetts. He has been serving the Town of Dennis as a member of the Select Board since 2014 and currently serves as the Vice-Chair.
John is the President & Founder of JWT & Associates, a fundraising consulting and charity auctioneer company serving national and local non-profit and for profit organizations. In 1992, he started this business after working as a real estate auctioneer here on the Cape, and it has since flourished. John has performed over 1,500 auctions and events, leading to over $200 million in funds raised.
Over the course of John's career, he has worked with buyers, sellers, borrowers, lenders, unions, government agencies, nonprofits, and more - and approaches every stakeholder with respect and dignity.
To his friends, neighbors, and clients, John is known for his delivery, energy, wit and command of audience, both large and small. He is eager to put his experience and skills to work on behalf of all residents of Dennis.
